Position Summary

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking qualified Patient Services Assistants who will be an integral member of our Environmental Department team and provide patient room and ward cleaning duties, food and beverage services, transportation of patients and patient support.

  • Full time and casual positions available
  • Located at Mercy Hospital for Women – Environmental Services Department
  • Provide cleaning duties, Food and beverage service and general ward and patient support
  • Responsible for ensuring that Victorian Public Health cleaning and food safety standards are met

ABOUT YOU:

  • Health Services Assistant Certificate III
  • Excellent customer service skills and have a passion for attention to detail
  • Open and honest communication skills
  • A commitment to policies and procedures in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and members of the public

ABOUT US:

Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital providing both public and private patient care through maternity services, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women's health and associated health, support and diagnostic services. We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
